Our new adventure

Saturday Chris took his first step to getting "out of the truck" (truck driving) I am so very proud of him. He went to Indy to take his first class on Architectural concrete design. Our goal is to start our own business soon. These are the samples he did that day.

So basically you can take concrete and make it look like tile, marble, granite, ect. This is on pre-exsisting concrete, and lots of other stuff. They even make concrete countertops now too.( Hopefully our Kitchen will have them one day)
His next set of classes in May are for advanced stuff. I can't wait to see what that will be.

Concrete countertops?? I saw some on Flip This House that looked like granite!

You two need your own HGTV show. I think that is a great idea. Best of luck!!

Thank you!! Yhe countertops are super cool, and about 1/4 of the price of granite.

Awesome!

So, will you come to Newton to do work?

What will you call your business?

This is SOOO exciting.

Thanks!! We do not have a name yet. We have been racking our brains with something witty, easy to remember. Any ideas?
The one in Indy is called Elite Crete. We like that. Easy. But it's taken.:(

Emily, there is a HUGE market for that in Louisiana. The samples look fantastic!

We did stained concrete countertops at our store and absolutely LOVE the way they turned out!

That's awesome! A couple years ago we went to the World of Concrete in Las Vegas - you can do so much w/ concrete. My husband wants a concrete house - so energy efficient.

Emily, you have created quite the little buzz in these parts.

Sounds like there is plenty of business to be had in Newton.

Mom and Dad are building on and I am trying to talk them into concrete countertops for their new kitchen.
