"Is there something on my head???"

"Ah Man,,, not another bow!!"

"oh well, I guess I best get use to it"

New shoes. that goodness for velcro!!

The timeout box stinks!!

But the toy box rocks!!

We took our first trip to Toysrus this weekend. Reese was pretty overwelmed, but we got her a rocking horse(unicorn), and this little basketball thing. I will get a picture of the unicorn when Reese stays on it long enough to take one, but we played bball for atleast an hour. It was a great $5.00 investment.

What a day

Today has been one of the best days we have had in a LONG time. (Since toddler ism)
We had Kindermusik today, and Reese was WONDERFUL!! She is getting adjusted to the new class, and now has a partner in crime that can walk too. She did great. My nerves were not shot at the end of class, and hopefully I will not be sore tomorrow from wrestling her during class. I told her before we got out of the car, if she was good we would go to McDonald's. Now we have never been to Mcyd's, nore do I think she even has a clue what it is, but she was good, so we went.
It is amazing that she knew EXACTLY what to do. This is her first chicken nugget ever. She ate it like a pro, and knew how to dunk it in the ketchup. I only let her have 2 cause I wasn't sure about the belly ache, but I'm pretty sure she would have ate the other 2 if I would of let her!!
After class, and lunch she went down for a nap without a fight, was a doll at bible study, then we even got a 1 1/2 hrs. with Christopher tonight before work. What a delight she has been.

Sorry the video is fuzzy and dark. But the sound is priceless.

This is Christopher playing "copycat" with Reese.

To end our day, she went down for bed @ 8:00, not a fight, and 2nd nights w/out a bottle. What a priceless day.

Thank you Lord for All the blessings in my life, especially my little Reesie Cup. Kinda makes me think what 2 kids would be like,,,, I'm thinking HELL!!! No time soon!!! No thanks!! :)

It finally happened

We found SHOES!!!! That FIT!!!! Real shoes, that have rubber bottoms, and she can wear outside. And are they not CUTE!!! We have a pairs in hot pink, purple, and ruby red.I am so excited!! 13 months and her feet are starting to thin out ( even though a shoe guy said when we were trying to find shoes, she just had legs with toes.) How dare he.

Pony

Aunt Stacie brought her rocking horse to Grandma's this weekend. Reese had a great time on it. I think we may be getting her one for our house. (maybe a padded one for her tooshy) I think she may have a bit of "chapping" from the all day ride.:)

Baby took a ride too.

Eli is home!!!

Our wonderful neighbors Todd and Sarah brought Eli home this week. He is a beautiful, happy, wonderful baby. He is 7 months old and is from Guatemala. I could just squeeze him is so stinkin CUTE!!!

Playing peek-a-boo

Reese giving Eli some lovin.

Bob and Reese

We have had a HUGE break through on Fri. Reese was actually being nice to Bob. She has had a hard time not pulling his hair. The soft, fluffy fur was always to tempting. This day she gently touched him, and then gave him love.
Look at Bob's ears. By the end he wasn't so sure about things. (Flat ears)

our week, not much going on

The only real exciting thing this week has been Kindermusik. It started back up on Wed. I think Reese will like this semester. It is "On the Farm" And she is all about animals right now. She is the oldest in her class, there is only 1 other that walks, so it will be interesting to see how she does. She misses her old teacher Jeremy. I'm pretty sure she was confused about why he wasn't there. Amazing how they understand some things!!

Reese has figured out that when the red box is here, so is daddy. She uses it for everything.

you can dance around itHide treasures

makes a great seat

or a purse

Funny what kids will play with. All the new toys from the holidays, and she spends the WHOLE afternoon w/ a dirty lunchbox.

Reese has really been into her babies this week

Our weekend

We went to the country to cheer on the Illini on Tues. No matter how hard Reese tried to cheer them on, it was embarrasing. I think the band did good though. They looked good in the parade and so did the cheerleaders. Oh well. There is always next year!!

Toby "The Tank" is a wonderful dog. One of the biggest lab mixes EVER!!! Him and Dolly ( the rot) let Reese waller all over them, and just took it. We had a great time w/Suz and Jack!
