Update on the crafts... The fishing game has gone over real well. Reese really likes to play "fishes"

Sat. we washed cars, mine and Reese's
we were all soaked by the end on the day
she is trying to fill up her bubble thing, with the sprayer being on mist setting
her car shinned when she was done,,, mine has hard water marks on it. :)
This weekend we tried to really do the potty thing, It has gone over VERY well!!! the only thing is she really prefers the swimming pull up. Here I got her in panties, and I think that was the last time. She had put these on herself. There is one on each leg. She was very proud of herself!!

Now this may be the last pic in awhile,,, I have lost my battery charger to my camera. Friday I was doing some "major" cleaning,, I remember seeing it and putting it up, not where it usually goes, but somewhere safe.
Now I can't find the damn thing!!

Reese an I went to Hobby Lobby today got lots of projects for the weekend.
My goal is to make a fishing game, and felt food to play with, ,,, we'll see how crafty I really am,,, :)

Her is my birthday card from Linda, which I got in May. It is one of those card that sings happy bday to you. Reese has played w/ it this whole time. we call it the card that never dies. She has gotten so good, that she can open and close it so fast it is like a rap song. Hap- hap- hap- happy bday to you,,

But while I was taking pic of her playing with it,, the wear and tear took it's toll, and it riped
I know in her head she was saying " oh no!!"

Wed. Fun

Wed was a great day. We went swimming.... as you can see Reese didn't wasn't to wait around for a picture

But sucked it up for a quick one.....

Made a cherry pie,, Grandma's recipe... :) And then when Reese and I were having some art time, Chris joined in, and we turned out with this.I love the picture,,, even if it is not the most beautiful thing, the memories of us 3 in our little kitchen painting,, priceless ;)
What a wonderful Wednesday!!

Then as I should have know, came Thursday and it SUCKED!!! Bad,bad day. We were all in a funk.

But today is good.:)

Saturday Night

Welp, Sat. was our 15 yrs class reunion. We worked all day @ Cindy's, but by 9:00 we made it to the party.Much to our surprise we had a GREAT time!! Besides the fact I can not tell you when we had a night "out",,, we both enjoyed talking to everyone. There was not a ton of people there (which in a way was not a bad thing) I tried to say "hi" to everyone, but I know I didn't get to everyone.


Me,Michelle (Diel) Fulton and Bridgett (Kirts) Randolph But I talked the most to these two. Fun time!!! the thing that sticks in my mind the most, was Emily Carrol. We were talking about the past, and how she got pregnant our senior year. That means she will be 37 when her boy graduates school. HOLY CRAP!!!
That is like a new life!!! Can you imagine??? Done @ 37??? Go Emily!!!

Reese loves being outside. I said that before, but at 90 + degrees out, you would think she wouldn't.Not so lucky, but the nieghbors let us use the pool again. Reese has no fear and loves the diving board. But then my cousin L ( who does the lifeguard thing) told me not to let her anymore, cause she needs to be a little afraid,or she will get hurt. So this will be the last one for the year. :( I was the one catching her, and let me tell ya 30 pds. gets pretty heavy after a few jumps( if you can call it a jump). I needed one of the floaty things they use to catch kids. And the girl on the board in Vanessa the daughter of the nieghbors ( the Kneapers (sp.? )

She is WONDERFUL!!! Good kid!! Takes good care of Reesie.

I woke up early Sat. morning to find this.

The neighbors were kind enough to let us come over and swim this weekend. ( I think they new we were burning up playing outside.) Their pool is WONDERFUL!! I wasn't planning on swimming,but luckly we had a suit @ mom's, and Ya Ya didn't care to jump in w/her cloths on.

GIMPY!!! This is Gimpy, the goat Chris got me,that now is at Barb's farm. It was to confusing to try to explain donkeys to Reese, so they are nay,nay's too :)

And then we have Andy the Lama. He is the only one of the animals that frightens me. The thought of being spit on makes my toes curl.

But then there is Cricket, who is SOOO beautiful and nice. I need to get a better picture of her face. She has the longest eyelashes. Reese REALLY liked her!!! Fun morning at the farm.

Saturday Art

So I have been trying to work in more creative play these days. For some reason, I am into wooden toys. Trying to only buy little people and wooden toys. I would like to get a village of wooden people one day,,, in the chance she will get a doll house .They have cool ones at

anyway, on Sat. I break out the "fun art" . The ,,if I have to throw her in the bath, not a big deal. During the week, we stick to the regular stuff. This seems to keep her busy while Chris sleeps. She really likes it too.
Today was watercolors.

Last sat. was finger/brush paint

Reese had to get her last shot yesterday. Pittiful look. But she actually did fine with them,once she slept a bit.
