House... no house??

Is anyone else trying to buy a house right now? Scary.
The way I am looking at it, is with faith. Christopher and I both agree, that if the loan goes through, than we were meant to have this house,,, if not,,, we are supposed to sit tight, in our small ...but inexpensive home,, which we like and are perfectly fine with.
The media is making things seem really scary,, but a customer and I had a discussion yesterday, and we decided if the little people like us, kept on cutting hair and checking eyes ( she an eye doc) we will be ok.
Keep on keeping on,,, that's what us "blue collars" do.

Reese and Ella Jane

Ella Jane Radke came over to play this weekend. They had a good time together. Ella is a trip!! She can TALK!! Funny stuff!! And those eyes!!!

Well, within 4days of making an offer, they/we agreed on a price,we got the house inspection done 2day, and if all goes as good as it has been we should close Oct. 15th
HOLY COW!!( never mind the way the pics are set. This is what I get for not checking the settings before I download.) :)

these are a few of my favorite things about the house.


I love the dormer windows,, how the flare out.I can't wait to get some paint on them to make them stand out.

ORIGINAL crown molding. I have never had a place with molding, so to me, this is a big deal.

This would be my view from the new shop, in the glassed in porch area. NO MORE BASEMENT!! ( the guy still has not cleaned the yard from Sun. storm,,, which by the way the neighbors across the street STILL do not have electricity.)

THAT would suck!!

A fireplace!!! with a huge mantle,,,, oh the things I can junk it up with!!:)

So those are only a few,, we will see if the good Lord has this house in his will for us. That has been my prayer, His will, not ours. I have to remind myself, when I think of leaving this house which I LOVE LOVE LOVE,,that this house,, the earth is not our home,, it is only a small point in our life journey. It is only walls and a roof that the Lord can give and take away. I can become SO attached to things, mostly memories. This house on Harper Ave was my first baby. Alot of sweat and tears made this house what it is. OHHHHH here I go .. I will have to really suck it up and not cry the day I hand over the keys!!!

Reese goes to Kristin's Tues, and Thurs mornings. What a HUGE bleesing it is to be able to take her there where she has a blast, they lover her like I do, and she is learning a ton. ( They home school so I know she is soaking some of it up!!)
