Regan's Baptism

Thank you Grace for the pictures..

It was dark, so the picture are a little off..

and Regan was sick,, we had a party planned for her birthday and baptism together, but had to cancel since she felt bad

Reese was worried what the heck we were doing to her sister..

Regan likes the cool water..I'm sure it felt good, when we got home she had 100.7 fever..

Pastor did a great job like always

Mom, Dad and Granny Great came for the Baptism I was very excited to see Grandma, she doesn't get out too much, so I know this was big for her..:)

Then there was the day Reese decided to help Christopher with his truck, she gets her fashion sense from me..:)

This was Reese's party dress for Dora's Big Birthday Celebration..( we watched it on tv)

We went all out and had home made pizza and snow cones..

Cardinal ~ Cubs game

Christopher and I got to go away for the day to St. Louis with Mike & Julie. I don't know if it was the company, or the fact we hadn't been away from the kids in a LONG time, but we had a BLAST!! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time..:)

Did I mention it was a million degrees? It was so darn hot..

But we had great seats..( thanks dad)

August 9th

We are very blessed to have many people in the kid's life. One particular is Ms. Kathy. Kathy has came almost every Thurs afternoon since Reese was a year old. Besides her helping me with the kids while I work, she loves the kids and teaches them things that I don't even think about. This day, they decided to pull the lawn chair in the front yard and watch the cars.( we live on a dead end street, so there really isn't that much.) But what I realized as I watched them while I worked, Kathy was teaching Reese to be still... That you don't have to run around all the time, to sit back and enjoy, take in Gods beauty. .I'm not sure if Ms Kathy will ever know how important she is in our lives, but we love her bunches!!

This was just one day where all she wanted was to be held, and I was trying to get supper ready.. poor thing...

After we went bowling, we went back to Granny's and played alittle corn hole.
