Weekend fun
YEH!! It finally happened!! We got it put together!!
This is how it started. I layed all the wood parts out, then I organized the hardware. I know it sounds OCD, but it really helped.
I did this side myself, not too hard
then dad came down, and we put this section together.
And on Sunday, we had the crew here. Myself, Christopher, my dad, and Roger all worked on it together. The Grandma's babysat.
And here it is!!!
Reese's first slide down
Now it has been up for 24 hours, not kidding, she can almost do this herself. She just climbs up the boards.

This is the bottoom of the rock wall. It was all about safety, with 2 grandpa's and a protective dad working on it.EVERYTHING needed to be level!!

Reese had to take a break in the neighbors nice thick backyard.
Getting ready for bed after a big day. Do you like the same ol headband in her hair?
First polished toes of the year!!

It took the four of us 3 1/2 hrs to totally assemble it. That is not including the 2 hrs of separating the parts, and then I even put each section of things together(wood, and hardware) so that when everyone got here, they starting working on a section . That worked out very well. Everyone had a job,and we didn't have to waste time looking for parts, or tripping on each other. All and all it was pretty easy (on me) :) 2 people 8-10 hours is about right.

Today was one of those days that I wish I could store in my head, and heart and never forget it. Nothing too exciting,,, just a great day. Chris got home early (8:00am) and we got to spend extra time together, before we headed off to Kindermusik. Reese did great. We came home and played outside, we BOTH took a nap,(WONDERFUL!!!)played outside again, Chris woke up, dinner,he left for Cleveland, and THEN we took a walk, and went to the park that is close to the house. It was the first time I had taken Reese and we will definitely go back.
Reese is REALLY into ducks, so we fed the ducks. She is starting to realize they are not all yellow. :)

This was the meanest d--m duck I have ever seen!!He(or she) was a bully!!! I tried not to give it food, but it stole from the others.
And saw some eggs. I wonder.. what's in the eggs? Can you eat duck eggs???

I love old big trees, I could not pass up this awesome pic of the sky too.
After the bath was bow time again.
And to top a great day, we had fun in the bath. This was her attitude all day. Giggly, and she is getting a goofy, side.

The only thing that could of made this day better is if Chris could of been here more, but we play the cards life deals us and be thankful for what we have.
oh,,, wait,,, if she sleeps through the night I think that might trump Chris being home. I have forgotten what 8 hrs of uninterrupted sleep is like!We shall see, I'll let you know!! :) :)

Our new adventure
Saturday Chris took his first step to getting "out of the truck" (truck driving) I am so very proud of him. He went to Indy to take his first class on Architectural concrete design. Our goal is to start our own business soon. These are the samples he did that day.
So basically you can take concrete and make it look like tile, marble, granite, ect. This is on pre-exsisting concrete, and lots of other stuff. They even make concrete countertops now too.( Hopefully our Kitchen will have them one day)

His next set of classes in May are for advanced stuff. I can't wait to see what that will be.
Beautiful Sunday
I LOVE the spring. I love to get my hands dirty digging in the ground, and I love being outside. Reese was really enjoying her bubbles this day. Hope fully by next weekend we will have the time to put together the playset. I have recruited a few of our friends to help, and or moral support. :)
This is my fav. lawn thing. I noticed her head is cracked, I guess that is why you should take them in, in the winter. Live and learn!!
